BURNT CABINS – A woman was killed in a Sunday morning crash on the Huntingdon County portion of the turnpike, state police said, in the weekend’s second crash death on the 30-mile stretch east of Everett.

Police said Tsai-Ling Yang, 47, of Taiwan was killed about 10:30 a.m. when an SUV driven by Chiayueh Yen, 55, of Pittsburgh crashed on the snow- and slush-coated highway in Dublin Township. The car, allegedly moving too fast for the road conditions, left the turnpike and continued down a dirt embankment before rolling over and stopping 120 feet from the highway.

Yang was thrown from the vehicle and killed, police said.

On Saturday, a truck driver was killed and

a passenger seriously injured in Bedford County when the driver, Damian Lobban of Springfield, Mo., fell asleep at the wheel, police said.
