Police: 28 to face drug charges
EBENSBURG – Law-enforcement agencies announced Monday that 23 of 28 individuals wanted on arrest warrants related to drugs or theft have been rounded up as part of a countywide sweep.
Cambria County District Attorney Kelly Callihan released the names of the individuals in a press release, including those arrested after a two-year investigation into a bath salts ring; the others are low- to midlevel dealers who sold drugs throughout the county.
Arrested and charged with felony delivery of bath salts are: Mark Beck, 27, 925 Mitchell St., Gallitzin; Michael Coley, 40, 573 Loop Road, Hollidaysburg; Tim Kargo, 33, 1710 Springhill Road, Portage; Archie Posea, 42, 160 Trout St., Johnstown; and Robert Reagan, 34, 149 Hickory Drive, Gallitzin.
Janet Douglas, 30, 5376 Portage St., Lilly, was charged with criminal conspiracy related to bath salts.
Leeann Andrews, 32, 428 Woodland Ave., Johnstown; Vonda Fulton, 33, 106 Sunny Brook Drive, Hastings; and Dennis Perry, 62, 607 Chestnut St., Johnstown, are charged with felony delivery of pills.
Jeffrey Branch, 22, 111 Chapin St., Johnstown, and Donna Dick, 55, 117 Dry Run St., Johnstown, are charged with felony delivery of crack.
Arrested and charged with felony delivery of heroin are: Misty Charnesky, 35, 926 Ash St., Johnstown; Anthony Edwards, 26, 124 Graywood St., Johnstown; Eric Kirsch, 29, 1115 Deveaux St., Elmora; Cindy Wolfe, 27, 133 Dry Run St., Johnstown; and Carrie Salata, 34, 222 Hickory St., Apt. 8, Salix.
Ashley Jordan, 26, 813 Coleman Ave., Johnstown, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver. Dominic Lewis, 36, 215 Magee Ave., Patton, was charged with possession of contraband by an inmate for possession of cocaine.
Colt Cunningham, 20, 2909 E. Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria, and Domonique Shields, 26, 15B Oakhurst Homes, Johnstown, are charged with felony delivery of marijuana.
In addition, a search warrant executed at Shield’s apartment resulted in the seizure of approximately 164 bags of crack cocaine, which were packaged for sale with an estimated $4,000 street value. Officials also seized a large bag of high-grade marijuana with a $7,000 street value, a small amount of heroin and $2,500 cash.
Kevin Mitchell, 27, 2208 Railroad Ave., Northern Cambria, is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
James Brothers, 21, 209 Nanty Glo Road, Nanty Glo, and Craig Mihalow, 33, 412 Palmer Ave., Patton, were charged with misdemeanor theft, where drug-transaction money was allegedly stolen and no drugs delivered.
All 23 were arraigned at the Central Booking Center in Ebensburg.
According to the press release, five individuals remain at large: Damien Black, 22, 201 Langhorne Ave., Apt. 3, Johnstown; Alan Harris, 31, 36 Boyer St., Johnstown; and Nijan Joiner, 25, 634 Pine St., Johnstown; are wanted on charges of felony delivery of crack. Steven Carpenter, 20, 301 Park Ave., Cresson, is wanted for felony delivery of marijuana, and Aaron Prosser, 28, 338 Chestnut St., West Reading, is wanted on felony delivery of bath salts.
