LifePoint makes donations

In recognition of its 20th anniversary, LifePoint Health provided each hospital in the LifePoint network an additional $2,000 to donate to a local organization.

Locally, Conemaugh Nason Medical Center made two $1,000 donations to Friendship Fire Company and Through Inc.

Friendship Fire Company is Conemaugh Nason’s local fire company, which provides many services to the area. The donation will assist in its efforts to upgrade systems in its fire house.

Through Inc. provides a free health clinic, which has been supported by Conemaugh Nason for several years.

Conemaugh Miners presented a check to Small Town Hope. The organization supports the health and wellness of children by creating and supporting unique programs. The donation is to be used in support of The Small Town Hope Treehouse, which will be opening this year near Hastings.
