Smith Transport to donate semi to CDL program

PLEASANT GAP — Smith Transport Inc., Roaring Spring, is donating a semi-truck tractor and 53-foot dry trailer to the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science & Technology for the Heavy Equipment Operations with Class A CDL Operators License program.

The delivery of the equipment is planned for the school in Pleasant Gap.

Tractor Supply to host animal adoptions event

DUNCANSVILLE — Duncansville Tractor Supply Co. will host animal adoptions, a pet supplies drive and more during their annual “Out Here with Animals” celebration from 8 a.m. to

2 p.m. Saturday, part of a monthlong event that recognizes pets, animals and the people who care for them.

Animal lovers will have the opportunity to engage with team members about pet and animal care while supporting local rescue groups that are looking to find a safe home for animals in need.

Those attending can support local pet adoption groups by helping find a home for animals in need.

Customers also can support the local animal shelter community by participating in Tractor Supply’s pet supplies drive.

CNB Financial declares dividends to shareholders

CLEARFIELD — The board of CNB Financial Corp. has announced a quarterly dividend of

17 cents per share payable on Sept. 13 to shareholders.

CNB Financial Corp. is a financial holding company with consolidated assets of about $3.4 billion that conducts business primarily through CNB Bank, CNB Financial Corp.’s principal subsidiary.

CNB Bank operations include a private banking division and 42 full-service offices in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York.
