Record store opens

MoValley Records, an independent record store, is now open for business at 627 Hannah St.

The store, owned by Steve and Christine Poe, buys and sells vinyl records (LPs and 45s) and turntables. Business hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 6 to

9 p.m. Friday and 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Main Street recognized

Ebensburg Main Street Partnership has been designated as an accredited Main Street America program for meeting performance standards set by the National Main Street Center.

Each year, the National Main Street Center and its partners announce the list of accredited Main Street America programs to recognize their commitment to preservation-based economic development and community revitalization through the Main Street Approach.

The Ebensburg Main Street Partnership’s performance is annually evaluated by the Pennsylvania Downtown Center, which works in partnership with the National Main Street Center to identify the local programs that meet 10 national performance standards.

Business After Hours set

The Blair County Chamber of Commerce will hold Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. July 25 at Bovard Heating & Cooling, a Division of Goodco Mechanical Inc., 918 Pleasant Valley Blvd.

Cost to attend is $10 for chamber members and $20 for non-members. Reservations can be made by calling the chamber at 943-8151 or online at www.blairchamber.com.

Sheetz offering free fries

Sheetz will celebrate National French Fry Day on Saturday with free french fries to all customers who order through the Sheetz app. This promotion is valid for a bag of french fries at all Sheetz locations for one day only on Saturday.

The Sheetz app is available on Apple and Android devices.
