Teacher to offer weekend of gentle Yoga, training
Nationally recognized Yoga teacher Rudy Peirce will offer a weekend of dynamic gentle yoga and a yoga teacher training May 16-19 at Bloom Yoga and Wellness, 1506 12th Ave.
Joyce Peirce will offer sessions on MELT Away Stress, which is a self-treatment program to support the health, fitness and quality of life of any person.
Sessions will be offered May 16-18 and are open to all, regardless of yoga experience. May 19 will feature a full day of training for current yoga teachers, offered by Peirce.

SFU offering new nursing graduate programs
LORETTO — Beginning in July, the Saint Francis University Department of Nursing will offer two new tracks to the Master of Science Nursing Program, the Master of Science Family (Individual Across the Lifespan) Nurse Practitioner track and the Post-Master Certificate Family (Individual Across the Lifespan) Nurse Practitioner track.
The family nurse practitioner scope includes blending nursing and medical services for individuals, families and groups across the lifespan. Family nurse practitioners are prepared with a primary care focus to diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions with an emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion.
