Business After Hours set
The Blair County Chamber of Commerce will hold Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 24 at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altoona, 2005 Valley View Blvd.
The event will include hospital tours, discussions of hospital awards and recognitions and educational information on hospital services.
The public is welcome to attend, but the hospital asks that all guests RSVP at www.blairchamber.com.

Blue Knob tree lighting set
Blue Knob All Seasons Resort will hold the Merry On The Mountain holiday festival and tree lighting from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Blue Knob Conference Center.
The event will feature children’s activities and crafts, live choir music, acoustic music from Rue Moyer, craft vendors and a visit from Santa Claus. At 6:30 p.m., a child will be randomly chosen to light the Christmas tree.
Those attending can register to win Blue Knob snow tubing passes and other prizes.
Admission is free, and there will be hot soup and other food and beverages available for purchase.

SFU programs recognized
The Shields School of Business MBA and Management Information Systems programs at Saint Francis University have been recognized among the top in the nation by OnlineMBAPage.org.
Both programs are accredited by International Accreditation Council for Business Education, an organization that exclusively accredits programs that are mission-driven and outcomes-based.
Specifically, the MBA program was named one of the “Top Online MBAs in Marketing with Specialty Business Accreditation” and the MIS Program was named “Top Online MBAs in Information Systems Management with Specialty Business Accreditation.”
