New hires and promotions
Dr. Kaylee Keiper, a board-certified pediatrician, has joined the medical staff of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Keiper will treat patients at Laurel Pediatric Associates in Johnstown.
Steven Wess, a physician’s assistant, has joined the medical staff Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center and will be joining the practice of Western PA Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.
Originally from New Germany, Wess earned a Bachelor of Science in health science, followed by a master’s degree in physician assistant science, both from Saint Francis University.
Dr. Tim Arlow, an ophthalmologist, has joined the medical staff of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Arlow will provide care to patients at Ophthalmic Associates Group, 120 Main St., Johnstown.
Dr. Ashlee McDonough, an audiologist, has joined Lemme Audiology, Altoona.
An Altoona native, McDonough is a 2018 graduate from Salus University — George S. Osborne College of Audiology.
Tesfayohanes Yacob has joined the Saint Francis University Environmental Engineering Department.
Yacob, a visiting assistant professor of environmental engineering, comes to Saint Francis having taught engineering for three years at Messiah College.
Dr. Renee Arlow has joined Conemaugh Physician Group and will treat outpatients at the Conemaugh East Hills Outpatient Center.
Arlow, who completed a Breast Oncology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, building on her general surgery residency to specialize in cancers of the breast, specializes in nipple-sparing mastectomy, lumpectomy, simple and modified radical mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, axillary lymph node dissection, hidden scar surgery, core needle and punch biopsy.
Awards and honors
Guy J. Landolfi, an Altoona-based Certified Public Account and Certified Financial Planner, was recently recognized as being ranked in the top 1 percent of financial advisors for the 15th consecutive year by one of the largest nationally ranked broker dealers, Cetera Advisors Networks.
He has been in the practice of public accounting and financial services for more than 40 years.
Nancy Kozuch of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Jessica Hemming of Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center, Pauline Bender of Conemaugh Miners Medical Center and Shaina Musselman of Conemaugh Nason Medical Center have been named winners of the LifePoint Mercy Award.
