Galactic Ice to partner with Bittner Restaurant Group

Galactic Ice Rink, Altoona, and Bittner Restaurant Group, parent company of 12 local Pizza Hut locations, have partnered to offer pizza, pasta and wings to ice hockey players, figure skaters, ice curlers and other Galactic Ice patrons.

Pizza, bread sticks and cinnamon sticks will comprise the usual offerings. But patrons may also select from the restaurant’s takeout menu for delivery to the rink. Forspecial gatherings, an extensive Pizza Hut catering menu will provide more dining choices.

Bittner Restaurant Group has owned and operated some local Pizza Hut locations for the last 40 years. The Altoona area locations were purchased by Bittner Restaurant Group in March 2017; Bittner Restaurant Group now operates 12 Pizza Huts across Blair, Bedford, Huntingdon, Cambria, Jefferson and Somerset counties.

Juniata College approves ESG Investment Fund

Juniata College has engaged Rockefeller Capital Management to manage about

10 percent of the college’s endowment assets, specifically using socially responsible investment practices that consider environmental, social and corporate governance criteria in selecting assets.

Rockefeller will work with Cornerstone Advisors Asset Management LLC, the firm that serves as the overall Juniata College endowment consultant.
