Fresh cut local meats, homemade soups, home cured hams, bacons, bolognas and jerkies, as well as a full line of informal catering and pig roasts.
Who are your customers?
People of all ages. We mostly serve locally, but we have customers from four different counties.
What is your business day like?
I fill the meat case with fresh meat every morning, serve customers at our retail counter, process smoked meats and, depending on the day, prepare for catering events.
What is the best business advice you have received?
To treat customers like family and to take care of your community.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned on the job?
Take the time to talk and listen to each customer personally.
What does the future hold?
My son has joined the business and will be the third generation in the business. Therefore, we have added an additional van to expand catering, and we plan to expand our retail location.
