Tyler Jenny of Glasgow has been named manager of the Northwest Bank office located in Coalport.

Jenny is responsible for customer service, administration, lending and business development. He will work with the commercial lending, business services, investment management and insurance areas of the bank to provide customers a full range of financial services.

He is the son of Richard Jenny of Curwensville, and Sheryl and Clark Cree of Glasgow.

Dr. Ali Abdul Jabbar, a board-certified interventional cardiologist, has joined Conemaugh Physician Group – Cardiology.

Heather L. Moyer of Duncansville has been appointed as administrative assistant to Hancock Capital Man­agement Inc.

Moyer, who previously was employed by RBC Wealth Manage­ment, is a 1992 graduate of Central High School and a graduate of Altoona School of Commerce with an associate’s degree in secretarial service.

Gerald R. Rose has joined The Hancock Group Inc. as a financial consultant.

Rose, a graduate of Edinboro State Uni­versity with a Bachelor of Art degree in economics and business, has more than eight years of experience in the financial services industry.

Joseph Myers has been named executive vice president of J.C. Blair Health System Inc., Huntingdon.

Myers, who worked for UOC Surgical Services and Advanced Center for Surgery in State College and Altoona for the past 13 years, will initially be responsible for financial operations, looking for and facilitating opportunities for operations and fiscal teams to work together to advance the hospital and its revenue cycle.

Awards and honors

Mark Harr has been named recipient of The Chairman’s Award in honor of the memory of Fred Pechter, the former chairman, president and CEO of Altoona Pipe and Steel.

The award recognizes exemplary performance and significant contributions by an employee beyond the regular expectations of his or her responsibilities.

Course completions and certifications

Doug Hershey of Hollidays­burg has achieved executive coaching certification from Gazelles International. Hershey, founder of Thought iQ LLC, received certification in January, completing a program including leadership and service obligations.
