Applebee’s treating veterans

Applebee’s Grill & Bar locations are inviting guests to thank their local retired and active duty military members with its Buy A Vet A Bud program.

Now through Nov. 11, guests can purchase a Budweiser or Bud Light at their local Applebee’s to be given to a deserving veteran in-restaurant on Veterans Day free of charge as a way to honor and thank them for their service.

Participating guests will also have the opportunity to create an original label with a personal message, which will be put on the bottle before it is served to the veteran.

Applebee’s in Altoona, Ebensburg, Johnstown and State College are among those participating.
