F.N.B. declares dividends
The board of directors of F.N.B. Corp. has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $18.13 per share on F.N.B. Corp.’s Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series E.
The dividend is payable on Nov. 15 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Oct. 31.
The board of directors also declared a quarterly cash dividend of 12 cents per share on F.N.B. Corp.’s common stock.
The dividend is payable on Dec. 15 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Dec. 1.

JARI sets Lunch n Learn
JARI will hold a Lunch n Learn program from noon to 1:15 p.m. Nov. 2 at JARI Center, 160 Jari Drive.
President of Prime Design Solutions, Brian Law, will share his expertise on email marketing and the pros and cons from email marketing providers.

Job fair scheduled
CareerLink Bedford County and the Southern Alleghenies Workforce Development Board will hold a fall job fair Nov. 8 at the Old Bedford Village Visitor Center, 220 Sawblade Road.
Veterans will be admitted at 9 a.m. and the general public at 9:30 a.m. The event continues until 12:30 p.m.
More than 30 local employers and employment resource organizations are scheduled to participate.
Meanwhile, a free “Job Fair Success” workshop will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 2 at the PA CareerLink office in Bedford. To reserve a seat, call 623-6107.

Food safety course set
Penn State Cooperative Extension will offer a ServSafe Food Safety Certification Training course from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Nov. 6 and from 9 a.m. to noon, with a certification exam at 1 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Penn State Extension Meeting Room, Domestic Relations Building, 499 Manor Drive, Ebensburg.
The cost for the two-day certification course is $185.
Elaine Smith, extension educator for Penn State Extension, will be the instructor.

Extension courses offered
Penn State Extension will offer the Produce Safety Alliance Grower Training Course Nov. 3 in Bedford.
Approximately seven hours of instruction time will be spent on the following topics: introduction to produce safety; worker health, hygiene and training; wildlife, domesticated animals and land use; agricultural water — production water and postharvest water; postharvest handling and sanitation; and how to develop a farm food safety plan.
