Hospital to hold meeting
The board of directors of Tyrone Hospital/Tyrone Regional Health Network will hold a community open board meeting at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 17 in the main lobby at 154 Hospital Drive, the Fitness Center building, on the Tyrone Regional Health Network campus in Tyrone.
Leadership will provide an overview of Tyrone Hospital/TRHN’s performance and accomplishments during the last fiscal year along with the organization’s future plans.
Google sets workshop
Google will come to Johnstown on Oct. 16 to conduct a workshop to help local businesses be successful online.
Through Cambria County’s Bridge to Pittsburgh initiative, Google representatives will perform a presentation at Artworks in the Cambria City neighborhood of the City of Johnstown from 4 to 6 p.m.
Topics at the workshop will include Grow Your Business Online and Make Your Website Work for You.

Breakfast Club to meet
The Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 19 at The Bull Pen Restaurant.
The guest speaker will be Matt Lightner, the new owner of WTRN-AM. He will talk about the future of the radio station.
