The 2018 CNB wall calendar will feature photos from the western Pennsylvania region, this year with the theme of “Americana.” The Americana theme encompasses all things that help tell the story of who we are and where we came from — from family heirlooms to well-loved toys, priceless artifacts and items of nostalgia to pop culture. Things that are red, white and blue, an aged baseball glove or a restored car are a few examples.

FNB to join Zelle Network

First National Bank, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corp., will be one of the first banks nationwide to offer customers Zelle, a fast, safe person-to-person payments solution.

Customers of banks on the Zelle Network can easily send and receive money using just a recipient’s email address or mobile phone number. Zelle enables funds to move directly from one U.S. bank account to another, with funds typically available within minutes.

FNB customers will have access to Zelle via FNB Online Banking as well as the FNB Direct Mobile Banking App by early 2018. The FNB Direct app gives customers the ability to review account activity, check balances instantly, make mobile deposits, turn their FNB Debit Card on and off with CardGuardSM, transfer funds, pay bills, find FNB locations and more.

Rutter’s Farm Store to open

York-based Rutter’s Farm Stores expects to open its first Blair County location by the end of the month.

Rutter’s is constructing a 7,843-square-foot store on a 5.9-acre parcel across Plank Road from the area housing Hoss’s Steak & Sea House and Marzoni’s, said Derek Gaskins, chief customer officer.

The Rutter’s store will sell gasoline, and the site will have two bidirectional access points — one along Plank Road and one along Jennifer Lane.

Meanwhile, Rutter’s is looking at multiple sites in the Blair County area for future growth, Gaskins said.
