UPMC Altoona sets tour of new building

UPMC Altoona will host public tours of the new UPMC Altoona Logan Medical Building, 800 S. Logan Blvd., from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Logan Medical Building is a comprehensive, conveniently located outpatient facility that meets patients’ desire for a “one-stop shop” approach to obtain high-quality primary care and specialty health services in one place. Home prices in Altoona increase from a year ago

Home prices in Altoona, including distressed sales, increased by 0.5 percent in March compared with March 2016. On a month-over-month basis, home prices, including distressed sales, increased by 0.1 percent in March compared with February.

Home prices nationwide, including distressed sales, increased year over year by 7.1 percent in March compared with March 2016 and increased month over month by 1.6 percent in March compared with February, according to the CoreLogic Home Price Index.

The Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. May 18 at the Bull Pen Restaurant.
