Woody’s II to re-open
Woody’s II, 3305 Pleasant Valley Blvd., will reopen for business at 10 a.m. Monday.
The restaurant, owned by Lynne Grove, sustained smoke damage Feb. 24 when the strip plaza was damaged by a brush fire.
Woody’s II will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Golf classic registration open
The 2017 Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Chamber Golf Classic will be held May 8 at Iron Masters Country Club, Roaring Spring.
The tournament begins at 11 a.m. with lunch and registration followed by a shotgun start at noon.
Cost to participate in the event is $150 per golfer or $600 per team. A limited number of sponsorships are still available.

Sheetz stores to sell alcohol
Sheetz Inc. has opened fully stocked beer caves at stores in Hollidaysburg and York.
With the opening of these beer caves, Sheetz now has 11 stores in Pennsylvania that offer beer sales. The store in Hollidaysburg — at 1100 Blair St. — also offers wine sales, for a total of eight Sheetz locations in Pennsylvania where wine is available.
Sheetz also sells beer in the five other states.
