New hires and promotions

— Jessica Svidergol has been promoted to director of nursing at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center in Hastings.

Svidergol has been the assistant director of nursing at Conemaugh Miners since 2015, and has been an employee of Conemaugh Health System for more than 10 years.

Awards and honors

— Joel N. Myers, founder, chairman and president of Accu­Weather, was recognized by CBICC with their inaugural Impact Award.

The Impact Award is a new excellence award given to “a local company or business leader that is a recognized leader in the business world, making significant contributions within their field and positively affecting the local community and beyond.”

— Linda Watt of RE/MAX Results Realty Group, Altoona, was recently presented with the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award, which honors successful agents who have earned more than $1 million in commissions during their career with the company.

Watt has been in the real estate industry for more than 25 years and has been with RE/MAX since 2006.
