PCN broadcast to feature local manufacturing company
HOLLIDAYSBURG – Seven D Industries officials hope an appearance on PCN Tours will help spread the word about the quality products they manufacture in the DeGol Industrial Center.
PCN videographer Craig Petersen stopped at Seven D Industries Wednesday to film the program, which is expected to air in early June.
PCN Tours, the network’s most popular program, features tours of businesses and industries throughout Pennsylvania.
Seven D Industries is a manufacturer of premium vinyl replacement and new construction windows and patio doors.
“I think it is a good way to get our name out to the other parts of Pennsylvania. A lot of people don’t understand how windows are made. If you have never been to a window plant, you well be quite impressed,” said Wendy Cabral, sales manager.
Company officials are excited to be featured on the program.
“We think it is a very good opportunity for our company to get our name out and show people what we do. People are not aware of what we do, how our equipment runs and what we are doing here,” said Mike Pettenati, general manager.
“I think it will show our customers that we will be here for a long time and are committed to them,” said Bruno DeGol III, assistant to the CEO, his father Bruno DeGol Jr.
PCN reaches 33 million homes in Pennsylvania and is available to 10 million residents, according to Ronald Neuhart, safety manager.
Seven D Industries is the kind of company that PCN Tours is designed for, said Matt Hall, program producer.
“They are a Pennsylvania manufacturer, and they make a tangible, practical product that people recognize. They make something that everyone has in their homes: windows,” Hall said.
“We will show how their products are made and show people the hard work that is done here in Pennsylvania. We like to feature manufacturing companies. That is what Pennsylvania is all about,” Petersen said.
The show will air at 8 p.m. on a Sunday to be determined.
