Commission approves three loans

Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development Commission’s board of directors Wednesday approved the following business loans:

n $200,000 for Curry supply Co./Curry Rail Services Inc., Curryville, to help pay for a $941,151 project that will enable Curry Supply to move its rail manufacturing division into 50,000 square feet of leased space at the south end of the DeGol Industrial Center, Hollidaysburg.

n $200,000 for Dennis M. Pennebaker and Heather H. Pennebaker, Somerset, doing business as Best Way Pizza, to help pay for a $440,000 project, which calls for the purchase of real estate at 1456 N. Center Ave., renovation of the building to include a drive-through and to include sit down seating and to repave the parking lot.

n $51,750 for Burnt Cabins Grist Mill Inc., Burnt Cabins, to help pay for a $103,500 project, which includes several elements including development of 12 new campsites, upgrading 12 existing pull-through sites and construction of two primitive camping cabins at Ye Olde Mill Campground.
