Cambria sets recycling dates

EBENSBURG – Keep Cambria County Beautiful has set its semi-annual tire and appliance recycling dates.

The organization, a Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful affiliate, will collect the items from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays at the locations listed below:

— April 26: Croyle Township Municipal Building parking lot off Route 53

— May 3: Patton football fieldhouse parking lot

— May 10: Cambria Township building, off Route 422 along Municipal Road

The cost is $6 for freon-containing appliances and free for all others; $1 for off-rim tires and $2 for on-rim tires. The cost is $15 for tires 4 feet in diameter and up.

No electronics will be collected.

The collection is open to all county residents, who can call the Cambria County Conservation District at 472-2120 with any questions.
