Karolyn Lee, Kelvin Gholston

Karolyn Lee and Kelvin Gholston were united in marriage at 4 p.m. May 20 at The Club at Corazon in Dublin, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of the late Henry Nathaniel Lee and Carole Lee of Altoona.

The bridegroom is the son of Lester Gholston Sr. and the late Shirley Ann Gholston.

Bishop Joseph Lee performed the double ring ceremony. Jacqueline Smith-Bennett, aunt of the bride, served as civil celebrant and matron of ceremonies.

The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, and father’s brother, James McKelvie Lee Jr. and by her brother, Julian F. Vaughn.

Mylah Martin-Davis was matron of honor. Micheline Silva was maid of honor. Simone Gholston was bridesmaid, and Kensington Porter was flower girl.

Donye “Skip” Ellis served as best man.

Groomsmen were Mark Wallar and Fred Williams.

The ring bearer was Dylan Ellis.

The rehearsal dinner was held at Vittoria in Powell, Ohio.

The couple live in Dublin, Ohio.

Mrs. Gholston is a 1996 graduate of Altoona Area High School, a 2001 graduate of Slippery Rock State University and a 2004 graduate of The Ohio University.

She is a professional opera singer, private voice teacher and owner of Karolyn J Studio in Dublin, Ohio.

Mr. Gholston is the CEO of GoldTech in Dublin, Ohio.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
