Emily Walter and Kevin Scholly were united in marriage on Aug. 6 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Martinsburg.
The bride is the daughter of James and Tonya Walter of Martinsburg.
The bridegroom is the son of David and Theresa Scholly of State College.
The Rev. Ed Harshbarger performed the double-ring ceremony.
Alyssa Clark was the soloist, Mary Lou Hinish accompanied on the organ and Jacob Orczeck provided the music.
The readers were Erin Gates, sister of the bride, and Rebecca Swintek.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Natalie Baker and Deanna Replogle were matrons of honor.
Bridesmaids were Susan Rhoades, Julie Bechtel, Jodi Pyo, Kyle Stern and Camryn Gates, niece of the bride.
The flower girl was Kendall Gates, niece of the bride.
Kyle Rhoades served as best man.
Groomsmen were Brian Scholly and Tim Scholly, brothers of the groom; David Hawbaker; Ben Ganter; Brady Hart; and Andrew Burke.
The ring bearer was Oliver Baker.
The reception was held at Lake Raystown Resort Conference Center, Entriken.
The rehearsal dinner was held at The Bistro at The Village Green, Martinsburg.
The couple took a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
They live in Altoona.
Mrs. Scholly is a graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg. She received a bachelor’s degree in health policy and administration and a master’s degree in business administration from Shippensburg University.
She is a practice manager for Central PA Physicians Group, Altoona.
Mr. Scholly is a graduate of State College Area High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in business administration from Shippensburg University.
He is a program analysist for the Defense Information Systems Agency, Chambersburg.
