Beth Showalter, Erik Gore

Beth Showalter and Erik Gore were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Oct. 15 at Memorial Church of the Brethren, Martinsburg.

The bride is the daughter of John and Linda Showalter of Martinsburg.

The bridegroom is the son of Greg and Sharon Gore of Huntingdon.

Pastor Joel Nogle performed the double-ring ceremony.

Joyce Paden was organist.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Anne Showalter, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Susan Musselman, sister of the bride; Brianna Musselman, niece of the bride; Laura Porta and Nicole Shea.

Sydney Porta was flower girl.

Ryan Oser served as best man.

Groomsmen were Alan Musselman, brother-in-law of the bride; Isaac Fisher, Ryan Nyswaner, Brad Snyder and Nic Harris.

The reception was held at Altoona Grand Hotel.

The rehearsal dinner was held at Marzoni’s Brick Oven & Brewing Co., Duncansville.

The couple live in Northport, Alabama.

Mrs. Gore is a 2001 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg; a 2007 graduate of Penn State Altoona with a degree in human development and family studies; and a 2012 graduate of South Hills School of Business & Technology, Altoona, with a degree in medical office specialist.

Mr. Gore is a 1998 graduate of Huntingdon Area High School; a 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock

University with a degree in parks and resource management.

He is a natural resource specialist at Holt Lake, Tuscaloosa, Ala.
