Rebekah Hershey, Chris Dickey

Rebekah Hershey and Chris Dickey were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. July 2 at Gillbrook Farms, Warriors Mark.

The bride is the daughter of Doug and Jill Hershey of Hollidaysburg.

The bridegroom is the son of Ann Dickey of Sacramento, Calif., and Frank and Martha Dickey of Marcellus, N.Y.

Pastor Ken Beichler performed the double-ring ceremony.

Casey Gray, cousin of the bride, was the musician and soloist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Liz Rea was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Haley Barbarini and Katlyn Palmer Dix, Meredith Palmer and Lydia Gray, cousins of the bride.

Robert Dickey, brother of the groom, served as best man.

Ushers were Gabe Parra, Austin Jarvis, Isaac Hershey, brother of the bride, and Allan Schroeder.

The reception was held at Gillbrook Farms.

The rehearsal dinner was held at Marzoni’s Brick Oven & Brewing Co., Altoona.

The couple went on a wedding trip to the Bahamas.

They live in Nedrow, N.Y.

Mrs. Dickey is a 2009 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School; a 2013 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in applied developmental psychology; and a 2014 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a master’s degree in instruction and learning.

She is a third-grade teacher at the Syracuse Academy of Science, Syracuse, N.Y.

Mr. Dickey is a 2005 graduate of Marcellus High School and a 2008 graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY-Morrisville), with an associate degree in wood technology.

He is a full-time student at Onadaga Community College and is employed at Central New York Family Sports Center, Syracuse.
