Emily Knott, Brock Hettinger
Emily Lynn Knott and Brock Allen Hettinger were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. May 28 at Grace Baptist Church, Tyrone.
The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey and Rebecca Knott of Altoona.
The bridegroom is the son of Rick Hettinger of Altoona and Jeffrey and Susan Yothers of Tyrone.
The Rev. Aaron Jeffery performed the double-ring ceremony.
Anne Marie Longwill and Lauren Christine were soloists.
Mary Beth Reese was pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Jessica Knott, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Allura Pfiester; Mallory McPher-on; Julie Meier; Devynn Wojdyla; and Alayna Hettinger and Madison Yothers, sisters of the groom.
Lila Cole was the flower girl.
Lucas Woomer served as best man.
Ushers were Chad Hunt-er; Brad Schmidt; Nick Hettinger, brother of the groom; Randy Wilson; Ryan Knott, brother of the bride; and Jayce Hettinger, brother of the groom.
Gavin Hettinger, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.
The reception was held at the Bavarian Aid Society, Altoona.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Grace Baptist Church, Tyrone.
The couple took a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico.
They live in Tipton.
Mrs. Hettinger is a 2008 graduate of Altoona Area High School; a 2012 graduate of Saint Francis University, Loretto, with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology; and a 2015 graduate of Saint Francis University with a doctorate in physical therapy.
She is a physical therapist at the Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8, Altoona.
Mr. Hettinger is a 2009 graduate of Tyrone Area High School; a 2013 graduate of Penn State Altoona with a bachelor’s degree in letters, arts and sciences; and a 2015 graduate of Saint Francis University, Loretto with a master’s degree in human resources management.
He is a compliance coordinator at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
