Maureen Manjerovic, Matthew Lightner

Maureen Rene Manjerovic and Matthew William Lightner were united in marriage at 2 p.m. June 18 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Altoona.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Mary K Manjerovic of LeRaysville.

The bridegroom is the son of Judy Lightner of Claysburg and William and LeeAnn Lightner of Claysburg.

The Rev. David Rizzo performed the double-ring ceremony.

Jonathan O’Harrow was the soloist. Tom and Wendy Jo Nagy accompanied on the organ, flute and piano.

Readers were Kalea Manjerovic, niece of the bride, Michael Manjerovic, brother of the bride, and Debra Theys.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Mary Beth Osbourne and Nicole Metcalf, sisters of the bride, were the matrons of honor.

Bridesmaids were Jennifer Kruise, Kelly Sipes and Amigh Finelli. Abigail Metcalf, niece of the bride, was junior bridesmaid, and Sarah Metcalf, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.

Gregg Harris served as best man.

Groomsmen were Michael Lang, Robbie DiVentura, Christopher DiVentura and Robert Taylor. Noah DiVentura was the ring bearer.

The reception was held at the Jaffa Shrine Center, Altoona.

The rehearsal dinner took place at Tavern 27 at Park Hills in Altoona.

The couple took a wedding trip to St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

They live in Claysburg.

Mrs. Lightner is a 1996 graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a degree in education and music performance and received a master’s of education from the University of Missouri in 2002.

She teaches music and chorus at the Claysburg-Kimmel High School.

Mr. Lightner is a 1994 graduate of Clayburg-Kimmel High School and the electronics program of the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center.

He is the owner and president of Lightner Electronics Inc., Claysburg.
