Kristen Clemens, Thomas McGough

Kristen Michele Clemens and Thomas Joseph McGough were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona.

The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Kathleen Clemens of Altoona.

The bridegroom is the son of James and Sandra McGough of Hollidaysburg.

The Rev. David Roesch, great-uncle of the bride, performed the double-ring ceremony.

Anne Marie Longwill was soloist.

Kevin Clemens, uncle of the bride, was organist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Jennifer Liberatore, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Jade Gray, Rebecca Camberg, Kate Kilcoyne, Lauren Wiley and Stephanie Hanlon.

Kaitlyn McGough, niece of the groom, was flower girl.

Adam Robertson served as best man.

Ushers were James McGough and Andrew McGough, brothers of the groom; Craig Emrey, uncle of the groom; Stephen Daily; and Mark Liberatore.

Tyler McGough, nephew of the groom, and Christian Liberatore, nephew of the bride, were ring bearers.

The reception was held at Scotch Valley Country Club, Hollidaysburg.

The rehearsal dinner was held at Jethro’s, Altoona.

The couple took a wedding trip to Costa Rica.

They live in Carlisle.

Mrs. McGough is a 2002 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School, Altoona, and a graduate of Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology in 2006 and her master’s degree in forensic science and law in 2007.

She is a forensic chemist for the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office, Carlisle.

Mr. McGough is a 2002 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School; a 2006 graduate of Penn State University, University Park, with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with a biological science teaching option; and a 2011 graduate of Shippensburg University with a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction.

He is a high school chemistry teacher in the Cumberland Valley School District, Mechanicsburg.
