Family Services educator visits South Hills students

Cindy Estep, community educator from Family Services Inc. of Altoona, visited South Hills School of Business & Technology’s Altoona campus as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October to give a presentation to the students on domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking.

This presentation provided students with information on what constitutes domestic and sexual violence.

Natalie Lombardo-Beaver, director of regulatory affairs at South Hills, said, “This presentation was one of our ongoing initiatives to educate students at all three of our campus locations on the topic of sexual violence. We also offered contact information for different resources that our students may need.”
