Karly Fowler and Nikolai Dumin, both of Tyrone, are engaged to be married.

Miss Fowler is the daughter of Stephen and Kathy Fowler of Tyrone.

She is a 2009 graduate of Tyrone Area High School; a 2014 graduate of Penn State Altoona with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies; and a 2017 graduate of the College of New Rochelle, N.Y., with a master’s degree in education.

She is employed at Penn-Mont Academy, Hollidaysburg.

Mr. Dumin is the son of Leonard Dumin of Rehrersburg and Jill Dumin of Bellwood.

He is a 2011 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School, New Paris.

He is employed at Tyrone Tire & Automotive.
