Roaring Spring library sets April activities
ROARING SPRING — The Roaring Spring Community Library announced the following activities for the remainder of April.
Free computer class — 5:30 p.m. today. Tom Robison will answer general questions about the ownership and use of personal computers and explain how to make your computer use more enjoyable and understandable. Take your own computer questions. If you have a laptop, this would be a good class to charge it up and take it along. No signup is needed; email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions to have them addressed during class.
Knitting and Crochet Club — 6 p.m. Wednesdays. Whether you have been knitting for decades or just days, join this welcoming group.
Girl Scout Troop 43009 — 6 p.m. Mondays. Western PA Hosts. Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadets meet on the lower level of the library.
Lego my Library with Miss Cortney — 4:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays. Children ages 6 and older will enjoy fun and interactive Lego building challenges. Sign up is optional.
Block Play with Miss Cortney — 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays. This is a half hour of fun playing with wooden blocks, the library’s play animals, vehicles and people. Signup is optional; all children are welcome to come with their adult.
Sprouting Readers with Miss Cortney — 10 a.m. Thursdays. Enjoy stories, songs and play time with your little one.
Shopping & Cooking Naturally — 6 p.m. Thursday. Join special guests from Little Rock Natural Remedies as they discuss shopping and cooking naturally.
