Jonah, beloved pet cat of Nancy Bolinda and Walt Frank of Tyrone, died April 8 after a brief illness.
Jonah was adopted from the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society and became a wonderful, loving lap cat.
He struggled with health issues undergoing surgery for polyps and asthma at a young age. Despite his health problems Jonah lived a full, pampered life.
He loved his sports — he would lay on Walt’s lap for hours no matter whether it was baseball, football or basketball season.
Jonah also loved board games — especially Monopoly — where he would lay on the game board destroying houses and hotels. He also enjoyed playing banker.
Nancy and Walt want to thank Dr. Mark Koshko and the staff at Metzger Animal Hospital in State College for their caring treatment of Jonah over the years.
Jonah will be missed.
He is survived by his brother cats Felix and Coco.
