Prince Gallitzin State Park, Patton, 674-1005

Earth Day Cleanup Event, 9 a.m. to

3 p.m. Saturday, meet at the pavilion at Pickerel Pond. There will be projects for all ages to help with, such as litter pickup, trail work, raking, gardening, tree planting,

simple construction and outdoor programming equipment maintenance. Free camping is available to anyone volunteering for the entire day and lunch will be provided to all volunteers. Call 674-1000 to register or for more information.

Morning Bird Walk, 8 to 9:30 a.m. Sunday, meet at the Muskrat Beach parking area. This is open to all experience levels. Some binoculars and field guides will be available to borrow.

Whipple Dam State Park, 3746 Laurel Run Road, Petersburg, 667-1800

Spring Clean-Up Day, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, meet at Pavilion 3 for orientation and work assignments. Volunteers should take their own work gloves. Free lunch will be provided afterward.
