Altoona Area library launches cloudLibrary app

The Altoona Area Public Library launched a new partnership with the cloudLibrary app.

Now patrons can discover new content, borrow all their favorites and save future reads with cloudLibrary.

They can read or listen to eBooks and eAudibooks on the go, at home or in the library. The Altoona Area Public Library now offers thousands of popular eBooks and eAudiobooks through the cloudLibrary digital lending platform.

Offered at no cost to patrons, all thatás needed to get started is an active library card.

The libraryás eBook and eAudiobook collection includes popular titles from all of the favorite authors. The app is available in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Kindle Fire App Store.

Alternatively, patrons can also install the Windows, Chromebook or Apple desktop applications.

The cloudLibrary app is compatible with the following devices: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android Phones, Android Tablets, NOOK Tablets, NOOK eReaders, Kobo eReaders and Kindle Fires.
