Roaring Spring library announces Dec. activities

ROARING SPRING — The Roaring Spring Community Library has announced its activities for December. The library will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 in observance of Christmas.

n A free computer class will be held at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 11. Tom Robison will answer general questions about personal computers. If you have a laptop, this would be a good class to charge it up and take it along. No signup is needed; email corporal99@msn

n The Knitting and Crochet Group meets at 6 p.m.Wednesdays. Whether you have been knitting for decades or just days, join this welcoming group.

n Troop 43009 Girl Scouts of Western PA Hosts Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadets at 6 p.m. Mondays on the lower level of the library.

n Lego my Library with Miss Cortney meets from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays. Children ages 6 and older will enjoy fun and interactive Lego building challenges. Sign up is optional.

n Block Play will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays with Miss Cortney. Block Play is a half hour of fun playing with wooden blocks, the library’s play animals, vehicles and people. Signup is optional; all children are welcome to come with their adult.

n Sprouting Readers meets at 10 a.m.Thursdays with Miss Cortney. Enjoy stories, songs and play time with your little one.

n The library is selling “The Eldon Inn Recipe Card collection,” a multigenerational recipe collection. The cost is $10 and supplies are limited.
