Apple Cider Demonstra-tion, 7 p.m. Friday, Buck Hill Amphitheater. An apple cider press will be used to demonstrate the process of making apple cider.

Cooperative Trout Nursery, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, meet the bus at Chappell’s Field. Learn about the importance of high water quality for the trout and feed thousands of trout while there.

Tree Scavenger Hunt, 10 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Buck Hill Amphitheater. Children and adults are welcome.

Fort Roberdeau Historic Site and Natural Area, 383 Fort Roberdeau Road, Altoona, 946-0048

Open for tours, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission fees: $5 adults, $4 seniors, $2 children under age 12.

Songs and Stories of Forest Animals, 6 p.m. Saturday, amphitheater. Matthew Dodd performs live songs and stories appropriate for all ages.

Nature Scavenger Hunt, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Scavenger Hunt list can be picked up at the campground office and returned by 5 p.m. Sunday to claim a prize.

Archery 101, 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, meet in the upper field area at Muskrat Beach No. 2. How-to and safety instruction will be given every half hour. This activity is suitable for beginners of most ages, children through adult. Please wear sturdy shoes and sunscreen and take drinking water.
