15th annual Homeless Veterans Memorial Ride, Saturday July 14, registration starts at 10 a.m. at the Roaring Spring VFW, 1950 Plum Creek Road, Roaring Spring, with kick stands up at noon. The cost is $20. This is a 100-mile ride that ends at the Swiss Club, 1224 Tyler Ave., Altoona, with a dinner and entertainment by Jud Bussard & Band starting at 5 p.m. The ride is in memory of past Pennsylvania State Senior Vice Commander Gary Anders. Altoona Corvette Club Zeigler Cruise-in, 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 17. Zeigler Chevrolet, 13153 Dunnings Highway, Claysburg. Zeigler’s will cook and serve free hot dogs to all participants, and there will be a bake sale. The cruise-in is open to all makes and models of cars, trucks and motorcycles.

BCAAC’s 28th annual Williamsburg Car Show, in conjunction with the Williamsburg Farm Show, Aug. 19, Williamsburg Veterans Memorial Community Center, registration is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ($10 or $9 with a nonperishable food item). Central Mountains Region Antique Automobile Club of America 42nd Annual Antique and Custom Auto Show, Aug. 19, Clearfield Fairgrounds, rain or shine, dash plaques to the first 125 vehicles, $5 registration fee.
