Association for the Blind sets programs for August

The Blair/Clearfield Association for the Blind offers weekly opportunities for educational programs and socializing.

All programs are at 10 a.m. Unless otherwise stated, programs are held at 300 Fifth Ave., Altoona.

Wednesday — “Recycl-ing,” Katie Pope from the Intermunicipal Relations Committee for Recycling.

Aug. 8 — Shopping at Kmart.

Aug. 15 — “Orcam,” Tara Layfield.

Aug. 22 — Shopping at Amish Farm Market.

Aug. 29 — “Blood Pressure,” Michelle Fincik-Girdany from Home Nursing Agency.
