Roaring Spring library to host activities in Feb.

ROARING SPRING — The Roaring Spring Public Library has announced its February activities. Library hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.

n Join or renew a Sam’s Club membership from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday at the library. Extra benefits will be given to all paid (primary) memberships. Details are not available yet. All payment methods will be accepted. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, call Kathy at 940-1586.

n The Central Allegheny Lyme Disease Support Group will meet at

n Essential Oils “Pamper Yourself” will be presented at 6 p.m. Feb. 13. This session will also include a make-and-take customized blend. There is a small fee to cover the cost of materials and roller bottles. RSVP is optional to

n Smartphone Basics will be held at 4 p.m. Feb. 20. Kayla Noel from Verizon Wireless Zone in Roaring Spring will present smart phone tips and tricks. The class is free, no signup is needed and it doesn’t matter what type of smart phone you have or who your carrier is. Take your device and charger.

n “Lego my Library” will be held from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays with Miss Cortney. Children ages 6 and older will enjoy fun and interactive Lego building challenges.

n Block Play will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays with Miss Cortney. Block Play is a half hour of fun playing with wooden blocks, play animals, vehicles and people. Signup is optional; all children are welcome to come with their adult.

n Troop 43009 Girl Scouts of Western PA Hosts. Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadets will meet at

6 p.m. Mondays on the lower level of the library.

n Elements in Harmony NAMI Youth and Family Support will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Feb. 15. All family members are welcome. RSVP by calling Paula Miller at 207-1031.

n The Knitting and Crochet Group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesdays. Take your current project. Call the library for more information.

February is Love Your Library Month. Donation jars are around the community, as well as in the library. Watch the library’s Facebook page for an updated list of participating businesses.

Coming in March: The 10th annual Novel Affair dinner and silent auction will be held March 10. Tickets are $20 each and are available at the library.
