Baker Mansion to host Prince/Princess Tea

The Blair County Historical Society invites “all princes and princesses in the Kingdom of Blair County” to a Prince and Princess Tea from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 24 at Baker Mansion.

“We warmly welcome you to participate in this enchanting event,” said Joe DeFrancesco, executive director of the Blair County Historical Society.

“Let your hair down and come get tangled up in a fun, royal celebration. Join us for sipping tea, tasting cookies, special treats, crafts, and the showing of a Royal movie (G-rated) in a luxurious mansion.”

Princess or dressy attire is appropriate.

The event is best suited for children ages 6 through 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Etiquette lessons and arts and crafts will take place from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and a family-friendly movie will be shown from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Admission is $15 for one child and one adult; $5 for every extra child and $10 for an extra adult.
