Blue Knob to host ‘Knob Jam’
CLAYSBURG — Blue Knob All Seasons Resort in Claysburg will hold “Knob Jam,” a rail jam competition, at 1 p.m. Saturday in the resort’s terrain park.
A rail jam is an event where skiers and snowboarders perform a variety of tricks on terrain park features, such as boxes, rails and pipes. Registration will be from 10 a.m. to noon.
The cost is $25, which does not include a lift ticket. Helmets are required for all participants, and those younger than 18 will require parent or guardian.

Blue Knob All Seasons Resort operates in cooperation with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and Blue Knob State Park.

Association for Blind sets programs
The Blair/Clearfield Association for the Blind offers weekly opportunities for educational programs and socializing.

Historical society to meet Monday
EVERETT — The Bloody Run Historical Society will meet Monday at Kelly’s Scenic View Restaurant for a Dutch treat lunch at 1 p.m., with an important meeting to follow.
All board members and anyone interested in maintaining Everett community history is urged to attend.
