UPMC Altoona Foundation to hold ‘Winter Splendor’

The UPMC Altoona Foundation will host “Winter Splendor” from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Blair County Convention Center, Altoona.

Funds raised are used for patient-centered services and programs at UPMC Altoona.

Dr. Jack and Sandy Schocker and Dr. Josh and Dr. Amanda Siglin are the honorary hosts.

Attire is business casual.

The evening features food and live music entertainment with Dr. Zoot from Pittsburgh.

Winter Splendor is one of the foundation’s signature fundraising events and offers a fun and exciting evening that includes dinner, silent and live auctions, and live band entertainment and dancing.

UPMC Altoona Health-care Honors Awards will be presented at the event. The 2017 Healthcare Honors Award recipients are:

n Drew Appleman of Altoona.

n Sharon Ciccarella of Altoona

n Patricia Hoyne, M.D., of Hollidaysburg.

n Debra Pike, M.D., of Duncansville.

They are being recognized for their many years of service and generosity in support of UPMC Altoona and its patients.

Tables of eight are available at different sponsorship levels.
