‘Beach Bash’ to raise money for Family Resource Center

“Beach Bash: Making Waves for Kids” will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Bavarian Hall, 112 S. 13th St., Altoona.

The evening will include food, a cash bar, music, dancing, raffle baskets, a 50/50 drawing and more.

Music will be provided by DJ The Music Jar.

Proceeds from this year’s”Beach Bash” fundraiser will support five main programs at the Family Resource Center at United Way of Blair County, including the Toasty Toddler Outreach, the “Stuff the Bus” School Supply Campaign, the Week-of-the-Young-Child Celebration, “Make Parenting a Pleasure,” and “Parents as Teachers.”

Participants must be at least 18 years old to attend.

Tickets are $15 per person.
