Local 4-H member wins State Fashion Revue

UNIVERSITY PARK — Fifty two 4-H members from across Pennsylvania participated in the State 4-H Fashion Revue contest at Penn State University on Aug. 2.

The contestants are judged on construction of their garment, modeling ability and fashion fit/

design.

Paige McMullen, a 4-H member of the South Ebensburg 4-H Community Club, was chosen as one of the top three elite.

Paige, daughter of Mary Anne and Andy McMullen of Ashville, wore a trendy exercise outfit.

This is her seventh year in 4-H and her second visit to the state contest.

Paige chose black and a bright rainbow cheetah print fabric to create that bright cutout look you find in today’s workout wear.

Her talent was awarded as one of the top 12 in the state, and she was honored to then be selected in the top three.

Paige is an active member of the Cambria Heights cross-country team and an avid runner.
