Foraging at the Fort, noon to 1 p.m. Sunday. Meet in front of the barn. “Creature Teacher” Jody Wallace will lead participants on a quest to find food like a Revolution-ary War settler or a local foods advocate from the modern frontier. Wear sturdy shoes and long pants; take a basket if you have one.

“Journey Around Lake Conemaugh” free van tour, daily through Sept. 30, 10 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. Reserva-tions encouraged.
Junior Ranger Nature Discovery Day: Mammals, Tracks and Scat, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. This ranger-led program is designed for children ages 7-10. The event is free, but reservations are required and limited to 12 children. Take a picnic lunch for after the program.
Path of the Flood Hike Part 1: South Fork to Franklin, 11 a.m. Sunday, visitor center. Participants will hike for 7 to 8 miles over uneven terrain for approximately 4-5 hours. Take water and a snack. Reservations required.

Morning Nature Stroll, 10 a.m. Thursday, Muskrat Beach 3 pavilion. This stroll around the Muskrat Beach area covers mostly level, paved and/or packed gravel roadways, suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. Wear comfortable shoes and take drinking water and binoculars or a camera
Outdoors 4 Everyone Day, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Muskrat Beach 2 area. Celebrate National Get Outdoors Day with activities such as geocaching, disc golf, archery, fishing rod casting skills, kayaking and more.
