UPMC auxiliary supports ‘Real Men Wear Pink’

UPMC Altoona’s auxiliary, Friends of Altoona Hospital, learned about the importance of mammography/breast health and donated $250 to the American Cancer Society’s “Real Men Wear Pink Campaign” in support of Bob Strawser, executive director of mission and patient experience at UPMC Altoona.

Guest speaker Dr. Dianna Craig, medical director of the UPMC Altoona Breast Health Center, spoke, along with Straw-ser, who explained his involvement with the American Cancer Society campaign, a friendly competition among several prominent men who agreed to wear pink and promote awareness and breast health during October.
