Roaring Spring library sets programs
ROARING SPRING – The Roaring Spring Community Library, 320 E. Main St., has announced its activities for June. Library and Book Cellar hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Every Wednesday at 6 p.m. – Library Knitting and Crochet Group
10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 24 – Get Medicare Answers in Person from Terri, Benefits Consultant, Highmark. Register by calling Highmark at 800-978-6590.
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 25 and 26 – Liberty Days Booksale at the Roaring Spring Department Store. Stop by the library tent and enjoy activities for all ages, including face painting, book giveaways for children.
“Fizz , Boom, Read” summer reading program. Due to limited seating, registration is required by calling 224-2994 Ages 3 to 7 will meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays from June 17 to July 15 with Miss Paula.
Ages 8 to 12 will meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays from June 17 to July 15 with Miss Samantha Brumbaugh.
Newborn through age 2 will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays from June 19 to July 17 with Miss Paula.
“Spark a Reaction” for Tweens and Teens will be held at 1:30 p.m. on the following Mondays:
Today – Blair County Dairy Princess.
July 14 – Pennsylvania State Bee Queen. No registration is required for Tween and Teen Programs.
2 to 4 p.m. today and Tuesday – Express Yourself! Enjoy activities featuring the books The Lorax, The Tree in the Ancient Forestand Where Would I be an Evergreen Tree. Ages 6-8 space is limited
11 a.m. Saturday – “Front Porch Family Setries. Altoona Symphony will present ” A Cushion Concert.”
6 p.m. July 16 – Friends of the Library meeting.
