Trees Are Terrific!, 3 p.m. Saturday, amphitheater.
Searchin’ for Sasquatch, 7 p.m. Saturday, meet at Point Trailhead parking lot. This 0.7-mile walk covers fairly easy terrain.
Library at the Lake, 10:30 a.m. Sunday, meet at the small pavilion near the campground office. This event is for ages 4-12.
Nature at the Pond, noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, table at Pickerel Pond.
Eagle Watch on the Water kayaking program, 9 a.m. Monday, meet at Beaverdam Boat Launch. Registration is required by Friday. Participants must be at least 12 years of age.
Nature at the Beach, noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Muskrat Beach 2.
Shawnee State Park, 132 State Park Road, Schellsburg, 733-4218
Field Trail Hike, 6 p.m. Friday, meet at Picnic Area 2 parking area. This hike is 2 miles long over easy terrain.
Family Fishing Program, 9 a.m to noon Monday, Region 3 Headquarters along the main park road. Registration is required. No fishing license is required, and all equipment is provided. Adults must bring a child and children must bring an adult.
Rachel Carson Day Hike, 1:30 to 3 p.m. Monday, meet in front of the showerhouse at the beach. Trails rated as easy hiking.
