Keller earns statewide trustee award

SEVEN SPRINGS – On Oct. 20, at its annual conference, the Pennsylvania Library Association honored Joe Keller of Hollidaysburg as its Trustee of the Year.

The award recognizes Keller’s contributions on the board of directors for the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library, including the past four years as the board chairman.

The PaLA cited Keller’s leadership and passionate, creative support for the mission and work of the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library, including generous donations of time, effort and money. Keller was nominated by Library Director Janet Eldred.

Founded in 1901, PaLA is the state’s oldest and most diverse professional library organization serving libraries, library employees, library trustees and the Friends of the Library groups.
