Perspectives course registration open
“Perspectives on the World Christian Movement,” a course diving into God’s passion for the world and how Christians fit into His story regardless of where they are, returns to the Blair/Bedford county area for the seventh year this spring.
Featuring 15 different speakers over 15 weeks, the course explores the biblical, historical, cultural and strategic aspects of God’s heart — how and why God uses everyday believers in His epic global story, allowing them to experience His love for every tribe, tongue, people and nation and encounter the momentum of what He is doing in the world.
The local course will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday nights from Jan. 7 to April 29 at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church.
This is the first time the course has been offered in the Cove. If students miss a Monday class in Martinsburg, they can attend the Tuesday session in State College and hear the same presentation, usually by the same speaker.
Perspectives started with a course at Penn State University in 1980.
